I have been asked quite a few times how to coupon here in Canada. It is nothing like they do on 'Extreme Couponing' but it can be done. Here are a few tips...

COUPON AND CONTEST EMAIL
I would highly recommend that you set up an email address for couponing and contests. You WILL get spammed. Even if you are super careful and only sign up for ones that look legit...

ORDER COUPONS!
There are lots of great sites to order coupons from to print or to get in the mail. Check out: Save.ca, web$aver, BrandSaver and goCoupons. I check these at least weekly to make sure I have all the coupons I can possibly get. Also, there are hidden coupons (yep, ones you can't see when you log on to these sites but are offered by the manufactures) I find hidden coupons by checking SaveALoonie.

PLAN YOUR SHOPPING
Use the local flyers or Match-Up blogs (such as MrsJanuary) to find the best way to use your coupons. If you buy something on sale and use a coupon you will increase your savings.
BONUS: There are many stores that will price match! I just started price matching, so easy and save me driving all around. I use my flyers are mark with a Sharpie the products that I am going to price match this saves me time when I get the the store. I do most of my shopping at WalMart because it is close and because I can use all my coupons there with little problems.
